What is a Flingamo?
"Flingamo" (fling-ah-mo)is what my oldest son called flamingos when he was two. He thought he was saying it correctly, so "flingamo" was a part of his vocabulary for over a year. Hearing that word still brings a smile to my face and is a reminder of how wonderful it is to have my little men in my life.
About Flingamo Designs
My first born (boy) is a blanket addict. There are 4 "Fuzzy Blankies" in his bed at any given time. While I was "nesting" during my pregnancy with my second son, I took a break from scrubbing the walls down, dusted off the sewing machine, and made him his very own blankies. Then I wanted more unique and special gifts to give to the special babies in my life, so I started making more things. The toddler and preschool items are inspired by my little men as they continue to grow.
Created during naptime(or when avoiding the piles of laundry), each item is custom made and unique. I love being able to give functional beautiful gifts and make everything with that in mind.
